SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A Sioux Falls man and woman are behind bars Wednesday after a 5-year-old boy showed up at daycare with serious bruises.
37-year-old Joshua Manzanares and 26-year-old Samantha Maier face two counts of abuse or cruelty to a minor.
Manzanares is also charged with aggravated assault, accused of hitting and choking the boy.
The two are scheduled to be in court this afternoon.
