STURGIS, S.D. (KELO) — With the rally having now come to a close, a non-profit in Sturgis is receiving a handful of generous donations.

In a post on Facebook, the Sturgis PAL (Police Athletic League) group stated that they are incredibly grateful for a handful of donations that they had received during and after the motorcycle rally.

During the rally, an anonymous donator who wished to remain that way donated $10,000 with their boxing, mountain biking and cops and kids programs. These programs offer athletic respite for youth to curb juvenile crime rates.

Following the rally, the Sturgis PAL received another generous donation. Members of Stinger Saloon and the DOBBERS Society dropped by and gave another donation of $5,850.

All of these funds go directly towards the PAL programs and help keep mentoring and building solid relationships with the youth of Sturgis.
