MINNEAPOLIS (KELO) — The was a special buzz inside Target Center Saturday night. Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever were in town. Maya Moore saw her No. 23 jersey lofted into the rafters. And the Minnesota Lynx clinched a spot in the WNBA postseason with a 90-80 victory.

The Lynx raced out to an early lead and held a 13-point advantage after one quarter. The edge was narrowed to one heading into the locker room. Minnesota scored 11 of the first 13 points after the break to surge back in front.

The Lynx shot 51% from the floor and 41% from deep. The Fever struggled from the 3-point line and only converted 24% from long range.

Napheesa Collier poured in a game-high 31 points on 12-of-18 shooting. She also pulled down five rebounds. Four other Lynx were in double figures. Kayla McBride contributed 19, and Bridget Carleton added 16.

Clark paced the Fever with 23 points, eight assists and five boards. Kelsey Mitchell tallied 21.

The Lynx have now won six straight and sit third in the WNBA at 22-8. Indiana are seventh in the league at 13-16.
