We fully believe that every major city should have a store celebrating all things local- particularly locally created art, food, decor, and more.

In Pittsburgh, our premier store for all things local has an appropriate name- Love, Pittsburgh!

This shop has three locations in some of the busiest neighborhoods for visitors (Mount Washington, the Strip District, and the Cultural District downtown) and does a fantastic job showcasing local artists, products, and everything else Pittsburgh in all the best ways possible.

Celebrate Local at Love, Pittsburgh

Love, Pittsburgh is a unique store that is about celebrating the city and those who create fun products in it. They feature over 100 unique creators and local small businesses and curate storefronts with gifts, art, clothing, homeware, collectibles, foods, and so much more.

One of the things that we really enjoy about Love, Pittsburgh is that some of these products are permanent staples and are on the shelves all the time, while many others may rotate in and out during the seasons.

On our winter visit to the Mount Washington store, for example, they had Valentine’s Day Pittsburgh products like candy hearts with Pittsburghese on them. Other staples, like Leona’s ice cream sandwiches, can often be found in the cooler year-round with rotating seasonal flavors available (the winter release of banana bourbon on oatmeal lace is a particular favorite- don’t miss it if they have it!).

You may find art from local photographers like Carla Cardello, unique designs from Alternate Histories, cut metal ornaments by Audra Auzory, Steel City Salt Co salts, local books, and so much more.

For us, it is the kind of store we just love to browse through, but is also our go-to place for buying local products as gifts. A baby onesie for friends expecting a child? Yep. Wall art for a housewarming gift? You know it. They even have fun greeting cards with Pittsburgh slogans on them, with Pittsburgh references like “You’re worth crossing a bridge for.”

True romance!

But perhaps the two best parts about Love, Pittsburgh are that they are constantly adding new creators to their portfolio (you can submit to their Vendor Request form here if you have a local product) and, for those who want to buy local Pittsburgh products but are out of town- they also sell online!

So whether you’re looking to discover new local artists or simply want to shop for all things Pittsburgh, Love, Pittsburgh’s area locations are a must stop when exploring. We stop in as much as we can and always buy something new, too!

Love, Pittsburgh has three locations in Pittsburgh including 301 Shiloh Street on Mount Washington, 1728 Penn Avenue in the Strip District, and 805 Liberty Avenue in the Cultural District. They also have a love-centric clothing shop in Market Square as well (note: less Pittsburgh centric, more love).
