The departments then give the tools to car owners for free.Many Kia vehicles have been targeted as well. The company has also donated wheel locks. That’s what Jaime Edwards drives. She showed up at the police station to take advantage of the free offer.Police say design issues on certain models make the vehicles a quick grab for car thieves.Some municipalities around the country have sued Kia and Hyundai because of the design issues and the surge of thefts.
