SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – Cold temperatures will remain and we’re watching for snow this weekend.
With mostly clear to partly cloudy skies tonight lows will fall to the single digits and teens. Winds will be light.
Tomorrow will be cold with highs in the teens to near 20. Winds will remain light.
It gets a little more interesting this weekend. As a storm system moves through the central United States, moisture will wrap around it to bring snow chances to KELOLAND. While our moisture amount will be light, it won’t take much to give us light snow. The best location for snow is setting up from western South Dakota to south central South Dakota.
Cold air will stay in place with highs ranging from the single digits from northeast South Dakota to near 20 in southwest South Dakota.
Cold temperatures will continue next week with dry skies through Thursday.
