FARGO, N.D. (KELO) — Top-ranked SDSU saw its 32-game winning streak against FCS opponents come to an end with a 13-9 loss at No. 2 NDSU for the Dakota Marker inside the Fargodome Saturday night.

Cam Miller connected with RaJa Nelson for a 20-yard touchdown with 1:49 left in the game to give the Bison the lead. The Jackrabbits’ ensuing drive ended with an interception to seal the game. Miller and Nelson hooked up for both the Bison scores.

NDSU opened the scoring in the second quarter with an 18-yard TD pass. The Jacks answered less than 90 seconds later on a Chase Mason 66-yard touchdown run, which made it 7-6. SDSU took its first lead on the final play of the first half — a 42-yard Hunter Dustman field goal.

The Jackrabbits outgained the Bison 333-275, including by 103 yards on the ground. Mark Gronowski completed 14 of his 21 pass attempts for 92 yards. He also ran for 77 yards. Mason rushed for 80 yards and threw for 26.

SDSU is set to host USD next Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium.
