Phoenix Police Department detectives are investigating the fatal shooting that claimed the life of a man.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, on December 11, 2024, around 10:00 p.m., officers responded to the area of 21st Avenue and Tonto Lane regarding a shooting. When officers arrived, they located an adult male, identified as 22-year-old Steven Laguna, with at least one gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where he did not survive his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
Homicide detectives are asking anyone with information to call Silent Witness at 480(WITNESS) or 480(TESTIGO) and provide an anonymous tip.
Rewards will be paid for information leading to an arrest in this case.
