RAPID CITY – Laramie (WY) Rangers kept Post 8 winless in Legion baseball with a 6-1 win Thursday at the Veterans Classic at Fitzgerald Stadium.
The Eights scored first on a Bennett Dean sacrifice fly in the first inning, but were held to four hits. Laramie scored two runs in the fourth inning and four in the sixth.
Jackson Edman took the loss on the mound for Post 8 (0-3), allowing six runs and eight hits in four and a third innings with five strikeouts and four walks.
