INDIANAPOLIS — Overnight ramp and lane closures are coming to Interstate 69 this week.
According to a press release from the Indiana Department of Transportation, crews will begin striping and set up a barrier wall on I-69 near 96th and 86th Streets on Monday.
The 96th Street ramp to I-69 southbound will be shut down Monday night. The three leftmost lanes of I-69 SB will all be closed from 96th to 86th at the same time.
The same closures are expected to be in effect on Tuesday night.
The restrictions on I-69 are expected to start at 9 p.m. and end at 6 a.m. on both days. On Tuesday night at 1 a.m., some of the closed left lanes will reopen as crews will need to close the three rightmost lanes of I-69 southbound to finish striping projects.
Single-lane closures are expected to be implemented from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Thursday and Friday. This week’s projects are part of INDOT’s Clear Path project.
