SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Investigators are looking into what sparked a fire at Lake Campbell, south of Volga earlier this week.
The Brookings County Sheriff’s Office says multiple fire departments in the county were called to Bortnem Beach Road just after 12:30 Monday afternoon.
Crews arriving on scene found a garage and camper on fire, with the fire starting to spread to nearby homes.
Crews were able to put the fire out quickly, saving both houses.
