KOKOMO, Ind. — An arrest warrant was issued on Thursday for a Kokomo teen who was reportedly involved in a shooting that occurred in late February.
According to a news release from the Kokomo Police Department, 18-year-old Harron Burnett Jr. has been charged with one count of attempted murder, a Level 1 felony, and one count of criminal recklessness, a Level 5 felony, in relation to a reported shooting on Feb. 28.
At around 3:23 p.m. on Feb. 28, Kokomo police officers responded to several shots that were reportedly fired into a vehicle and a building located in the 900 block of South Washington Street. When officers arrived, they reportedly found a vehicle with several bullet holes and interviewed several witnesses.
On Thursday, Burnett was reportedly located in the 200 block of East Harrison Street. The release said that a search warrant was also conducted at that location, where additional guns and ammunition were also reportedly found.
