“I found that in that moment, like Daniel in the lion’s den, it was meant for me to simply be humbled and honored the Lord,” Killer Mike explained, “and I appreciate the opportunity to do so.”
This isn’t the first time Killer Mike—who also shares kids Malik, 29, Aniyah, 26, and Mikey, 17, with wife of 20 years Shana—has gotten candid about the highs and lows of Michael’s three-year-long wait on the kidney donor list. Last year, he recounted feeling a responsibility to be there for his son’s first surgery.
