Kenton County Parks and Recreation announced that their program “Letters To Santa, Letters From Santa” will begin on Monday, Nov. 14.Through this program, children will be able to mail a letter to Santa and receive a response from him by Christmas. There will be several different ways for participants to mail their letters to Santa this holiday season.People can visit Kenton County Government Center in Covington, Historic Kenton County Courthouse in Independence & Kenton County Animal Services and place the letter in the Santa Express Mailbox.Participants in the program can also take their letters to the Kenton County Public Libraries and place the letter in the Santa Express Mailbox or drop off the letter through the drive-thru. Letters can also be sent online at bit.ly/kcletterstosanta.While Santa, of course, knows where each child lives, the post office will need home addresses to deliver the letters. Because each child at the same address will receive a different letter from Santa at home, it is very important that the child’s name and complete home address are correct and legible. The program is free to participate in, however, Kenton County Parks and Recreation is encouraging people to bring a non-perishable food or personal care item donation when dropping off the letters.
