SIOUX FALLS, S.D (KELO) — Keep KELOLAND Warm, the event to collect donated winter gear and distribute it to those in need, is in full swing.
Today, some of our very own KELO employees gathered at the Saint Francis house to lend a hand.
“Everyone needs to be safe in the wintertime, if you’re out there and it’s frigid temperatures, you need a good coat, you need a hat, you need mittens and so this is just a simple way that we can help keep people safe,” said KELOLAND News anchor Kelli Volk.
Volk and others helped out today by sorting through coats and other winter items.
Tomorrow is the last day to drop off donations, which can be brought to the Saint Francis house in Sioux Falls.
