It’s not a smooth period for Jif.

Jars of Jif peanut butter have been recalled nationwide after salmonella was detected in several products, the Food and Drug Administration said Friday in a press release.

The list of the exact products is available on the FDA’s website. The recalled peanut butter was all produced at a facility in Lexington, Ky., NPR reported.

The salmonella outbreak has been detected in 12 states and at least 14 people have fallen ill. Two people were hospitalized.

Elderly and immunocompromised people are at greater risk of serious illness or even death from salmonella. Healthier people can expect “fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain,” the FDA said.

States reporting salmonella cases are Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Missouri, Ohio, North Carolina, New York, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia and Washington.
