YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul holds a 2-0 record early in his professional career, but his two victories came against fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib and former NBA player and Slam Dunk Contest champion Nate Robinson — not exactly elite competition.

So, here’s the big question: How will Paul handle someone with legitimate combat experience? We will find out Saturday night when Paul faces retired mixed martial artist Ben Askren at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

Before you dismiss Paul’s chances of winning, keep in mind he has been training hard and shown some serious boxing skills. Plus, as Sporting News’ Andreas Hale points out, Askren is known more for his wrestling than his striking.

“This is boxing versus MMA, and you’re going to see the difference,” Paul said during a press conference last month. “You’re going to see the difference of a wanna-be fighter, a guy who choked in the Olympics, a guy who choked in the UFC, and now a guy who is going to choke against Jake Paul. I’m going to end this guy’s career.”

Can Paul deliver on his promise? Or will Askren silence the cocky internet sensation?
