INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana State Police are investigating after a person was shot and injured on Interstate 465 on Indy’s north side Tuesday afternoon.
ISP said detectives were called to the eastbound lanes of I-465 between the Michigan Road and the Meridian Street exits to investigate after receiving reports of a possible shooting.
One person was found at the scene suffering from a gunshot wound and transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. As of this article’s publication, the victim’s exact condition has not been provided.
