PRAIRIE JUNCTION, IA (KELO) — Authorities are investigating a weekend shooting at a race track in western Iowa.
The shooting happened just before 9 p.m. Saturday at I-29 Speedway in Prairie Junction, Iowa, which is south of Omaha.
The Iowa Department of Public Safety is confirming there are injuries related to the incident, and that law enforcement secured the area by 10:30 p.m.
There are no updates on the conditions of the victims, or, on whether any suspects are in custody.
The speedway was hosting a music festival at the time of the shooting.
