SO TOD, AYTHEY NEED OUR PRAYSER NOW MORE THAN EVER. REPORTER: MANY STATES HAVE TRIGGER LAWS WHICH WLDOU IMMEDIATELY BAN ABORTION IF THE POWER FALLS TO THE STATES. IOWA LEGISLATORS DID INTRODUCE TRIGGER LAW BILL DURING THIS YEAR’S SESSION, BUT IT DIED BEFORE THE FIRST FUNNEL. AN AMENDMENT REMOVING THE RIGHT TO AN ABORTION IN IOWA DID PASS THE 2020 SESSION AND WILL NEED TO PASS EITHER NEXT YEAR OR GO UP FOR A STATEWIDE VOTE BEFORE IT BECOMES

About 100 students at Northview Middle School in Ankeny, Iowa, about 20 minutes outside of Des Moines, walked out of class Thursday afternoon.They say they want to speak out about human rights that could be in danger because of the possible decision by the Supreme Court. The students marched along Ankeny Boulevard and chanted their support of abortion rights. Kelsie Farrell organized the walkout. She says it makes her feel good to have so many peers on her side. “It shows that young people can be politically active, that we do have a voice and that voice matters,” Farrell said. “Even if we cannot vote, we still need to be heard.”

ANKENY, Iowa —

About 100 students at Northview Middle School in Ankeny, Iowa, about 20 minutes outside of Des Moines, walked out of class Thursday afternoon.
