INDIANAPOLIS — On Wednesday, the NCAA announced that the Circle City will host its Division II Men and Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships in 2027 and 2028.

According to a press release from Indiana Sports Corp, the Hoosier state is hosting 15 regional and national championships between the 2026-2027 and 2027-2028 seasons. This championship will mark the state’s 38th NCAA Swimming and Diving Championship across all three divisions.

The events will take place at the IU Natatorium and will be hosted by Indiana Sports Corp and the Great Lakes Valley Conference, Indiana Sports Corp wrote.

Indianapolis will also host the Women’s Final Four and the D2 and D3 Women’s Basketball National Championships in 2028 as well, as previously reported.

Additionally, Indiana Sports Corp added that the following NCAA championships will be hosted in Indiana between the 2026-2027 and 2027-2028 seasons:

  • 2026 D1 Cross Country Finals at Indiana State University
  • 2027 D3 Cross Country Finals at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology
  • 2027 D1 Men’s Golf Regionals at Indiana University Bloomington
  • 2027 D1 Women’s Golf Regionals at Purdue University Fort Wayne
  • 2027 and 2028 D2 Men’s and D2 Women’s Basketball Elite Eight at Great Midwest Athletic Conference (Fort Wayne)
  • 2028 D1 Men’s Golf Regionals at the University of Notre Dame
