FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ind. — Indiana State Police have declared a Silver Alert for a missing 50-year-old.
According to a press release, Roger Purcell of West Harrison was last seen on Thursday around 11 p.m. Police described Purcell as a 5-foot-9, 250-pound, black-haired, brown-eyed man.
Purcell was wearing a gray cutoff tank top and white shorts at the time of his disappearance. Officials believe Purcell is in extreme danger and may be in need of medical assistance.
ISP encourages those with information on Purcell’s whereabouts to contact the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department at (765) 647-4138. Anyone who locates Purcell can also call 911.
