GRANT COUNTY, Ind. — Officials with the Indiana State Police stated that an officer-involved shooting occurred in Marion early Monday morning.
According to a post on social media by Steven Glass with the Indiana State Police, officials are investigating an officer-involved shooting in Marion. No officers were reportedly injured in the shooting.
“There is no ongoing threat to the public,” the post read.
Officials with the Indiana State Police said that two officers were involved in the shooting and the suspect has been pronounced dead. Neither of the officers have injuries. Detectives are currently broadening the area as officials search for evidence.
