MIAMI COUNTY, Ind. — An Indiana Department of Correction facility in Miami County is on lockdown.
The lockdown at IDOC’s Miami Correctional Facility and Miami Correctional Annex (MCA) was announced around 8:15 a.m. Sunday via an IDOC Facebook post. It is currently unclear exactly when the lockdown began.
Per the IDOC, all volunteer and visitation activities at the facility have been suspended until further notice. What triggered the lockdown, if anything, is unknown at this time.
