(WXIN/WTTV) — Road crews are busy clearing streets in central Indiana after snowfall Sunday and Monday, but you will not see plows on the most iconic asphalt: Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

IMS doesn’t plow the track after winter weather hits, which means there are still several inches of snow on the pavement.

On Wednesday, IMS President Doug Boles took advantage of that fresh powder, bringing some Winter Olympics sports to the iconic raceway.

FOX59/CBS4 tagged along Wednesday as Boles snowboarded a lap around the track. To see it for yourself, watch the video above.
