INDIANAPOLIS — A person is in critical condition following a near northeast side shooting Saturday afternoon.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called around 12:13 p.m. to the 2500 block of N Sherman Drive on the report of a person shot.
When police arrived, they said they found a female victim with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. That woman was transported to an area hospital in critical condition, IMPD said.
No further information has been released at this time.
