INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers are responding to a report of a person shot on the near northwest side of Indianapolis Sunday morning.
According to IMPD, a person was shot at the 2900 block of N. Warman Avenue. Upon arriving to the scene, officers located a victim outside of a residence, with injuries consistent of at least one gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased shortly thereafter.
According to IMPD, there is not a suspect in custody at this time and the cause of the shooting remains under investigation. Officers will be talking to neighbors and community members in an attempt to gather more information.
