INDIANAPOLIS – Police are investigating after a man was found shot and killed Saturday morning on Indy’s west side.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, just after 2:30 a.m., officers were called to the 5500 block of Scarlet Drive on the report of a large disturbance.
Officers were notified that someone may have been laying unconsciousness in a tent in the area.
After surveying the area, officers found an adult male laying in a tent in a wooded area with a gunshot wound. Medics pronounced the adult male deceased on scene, according to police.
No additional information was released.
