INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting that took place on the near west side Thursday afternoon.
Per the Indianapolis Metro Police Department, officers were called around 2:08 p.m. to a residence on the 300 block of S Warman Ave. IMPD said this resulted in an officer-involved shooting, though no officers were injured. They did not state the conditions of any additional people who may have been involved.
Additionally, this resulted in Warman Avenue being shut down from Addison Street to Ida Street, with IMPD asking drivers to avoid the area due to high police presence.
No suspects have been named as of this article’s publication.
