INDIANAPOLIS – Police are investigating after a person was shot and killed on Indy’s south side Friday night.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, at around 11:45 p.m., officers were called to the 4700 block of Madison Avenue on the report of a person shot.
When officers arrived, they located located a person with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. Investigators say the person died from their injuries.
No other information was released.
