INDIANAPOLIS — One person is dead after a Monday morning shooting on the east side of Indianapolis.
According to officials with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 3800 block of E. New York St.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a person with a gunshot wound. IMPD said that the individual was initially “reported to be in serious condition” but was later pronounced dead.
