INDIANAPOLIS — One person is dead and another is in critical condition after a shooting on the northeast side of Indianapolis on Sunday night.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 10000 block of East 42nd Street on a report of a person shot. When police arrived at the scene, they located two victims with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.
The two people who were shot were transported to area hospitals. One of the victims was pronounced dead and the other is reported to be in critical condition.
