INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating a shooting that left one person in critical condition on the city’s near northwest side.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 2800 block of Questend Drive South at approximately 9:20 p.m. on report of a disturbance. This is a neighborhood near Lafayette Road and Kessler Boulevard.
Police reported arriving and finding an individual suffering from gunshot wounds. They were said to be in critical condition and taken to a nearby hospital.
IMPD asks citizens to avoid the area.
One suspect is in custody.
