San Antonio Missions National Historical Park
The five missions located along the San Antonio river are the largest concentration of Spanish colonial missions in North America. Along with the Alamo, the park was named the first World Heritage Site in Texas by UNESCO and includes the city’s four southernmost missions—Concepción, San José, San Juan, and Espada.

In addition to housing a physical collection at La Villita, they also host numerous educational events and activities throughout the year.
San Fernando Cathedral
As the oldest, continuously functioning religious community in Texas, San Fernando Cathedral holds a special place for visitors and residents alike. Built in 1731, the church has been at the heart of cultural development throughout the city’s history. The cathedral also serves as the backdrop for the immersive art experience known as The Saga, an art and light show projected onto the facade of the church.

The Witte Museum
