MADISON – Wisconsin entrepreneur Eric Hovde continues to campaign across the state of Wisconsin in his bid for the United States Senate, showing up in every community to share his vision to restore the American Dream. In the past week, Eric Hovde joined Rep. Derrick Van Orden (WI-03) in Melrose, Rep. Tom Tiffany (WI-07) in Rothschild, and Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) alongside Rep. Bryan Steil (WI-01) in Kenosha. Eric and these elected leaders discussed topics from the economy and Gray Wolf regulations to school choice.
In Melrose, Eric Hovde and Rep. Van Orden visited Pfaff’s Prairie Dairy Farm, to hear directly from farmers about the impact of Senator Baldwin and President Biden’s failed economy. Hovde and Van Orden emphasized how excessive regulations burden farmers, who are already struggling under inflation.
In Rothschild, Eric Hovde and Rep. Tiffany hosted a roundtable with local elected officials and community leaders to discuss Gray Wolf regulations. The discussion highlighted how the Gray Wolf population has recovered and is now posing a serious threat to Wisconsinites. Eric Hovde reiterated his support for Rep. Tiffany’s bill delisting the Gray Wolf and emphasized how once again Sen. Baldwin is all talk, no action, failing to take up Rep. Tiffany’s bipartisan Trust the Science Act in the U.S. Senate.
In Kenosha, Eric Hovde, Sen. Tim Scott, and Rep. Bryan Steil toured a local high school and hosted a roundtable on school choice. At the roundtable, Wisconsin students shared their incredible success stories enhanced by school choice. Eric Hovde emphasized that he believes education is the key to opportunity. He firmly believes that a child’s zip code should not dictate their access to quality education and will fight to enhance the availability of various educational options to accommodate every Wisconsin family’s preference and needs.
