High temperatures, clouds and sunshine are on tap for Memorial Day and much of the rest of the week, the National Weather Service Chicago said.
Meteorologist Lee Carlaw said Monday’s weather will be similar to Sunday’s, with high temperatures away from Lake Michigan in the low to mid-80s and in the upper 60s, close to 70, closer to the lake, with a light wind throughout the day.
The holiday will also be dry, Carlaw said, with no expected precipitation. Carlaw said people should be mindful of outdoor flames Monday with conditions being on the dry side.
Low temperatures Monday night into Tuesday morning will be around the upper 50s and lower 60s, Carlaw said.
Tuesday’s high temperatures will be slightly warmer, possibly hitting 90, with a bit more moisture in the air, Carlaw said. Wednesday should look similar in terms of temperatures, with a slight chance of showers Wednesday afternoon.
