IndyGo is offering fare-free services on New Year’s Eve starting at 8 p.m. This offer ensures Indianapolis residents have a safe and accessible travel option to ring in the new year.
IndyGo reminded riders that buses will be operating on a Sunday schedule for New Year’s Day and will resume regular pricing. Check their holiday hours by clicking here.
Discounts for Uber/Lyft Rides
If you’d rather hop in an Uber or Lyft, Sober Ride Indiana is offering vouchers for a discount on all Uber/Lyft rides for New Year’s Eve. The vouchers can be claimed by clicking here.
The law firm of Stewart & Stewart also offers Hoosiers a sober rideshare discount. By filling out this form on their website, Stewart & Stewart offers to cover the first $20 off an Uber or Lyft ride home.
“Reimbursements will be provided for those who use the ridesharing service to go home—not to another drinking location,” the law firm said.
Stewart & Stewart’s Safe and Sober Program goes into effect at 7 p.m. on New Year’s Eve and continues until 3 a.m. on Jan. 1.
