Over the course of this summer, I’ve noticed a theme in my beauty routine. About half of all the products I use have the same scent in common: citrus. Whether it be lemon, lime, orange, or grapefruit, my vanity has been filling up with bright, juicy, and zesty products (and it’s only taken me two months to notice).
I know what you’re thinking. Citrus is a classic summer scent, so why is this worth talking about? Well, I’ve been obsessed with citrus my entire life. Back in the day, I had a citrus-scented body glitter that I loved so much I barely ever used it in the hopes of keeping it around for eternity (if you know, you know). These days, I’ve upgraded to what I consider to be chic citrus products, from high-end perfumes to brightening body washes and more.
