Abe Hamadeh on the campaign trail.

Speaker of the House Ben Toma and Blake Masters conceded the Congressional District 8 primary race to Abe Hamadeh on Wednesday.

As of Wednesday evening, Hamadeh had 26,621 votes compared to Masters’ 22,598 votes.

Hamadeh’s victory in the CD8 Republican Primary all but guarantees he will head to Congress in November given the fact that the district is a Republican stronghold.

“We have secured a monumental victory for the future of our great nation. This triumph isn’t just for our campaign; it’s for every patriot who champions the America First movement,” said Hamadeh. “I am profoundly honored and humbled by the trust you have placed in me. Together, we have demonstrated that no amount of money, corruption, or lies can stop the grassroots patriots who cherish this country.”

“Our nation stands at a pivotal crossroads,” continued Hamadeh. “As I have consistently stated, this election transcends policy—it embodies courage. The courage to challenge a system that has enriched the few at the expense of the many, and the courage to stand up for what is right. It is time to put the people first and unite to preserve the America we love. I am proud to fight for this district and to represent the place where I grew up—the place that instilled in me a deep love for this country.”

“Throughout this campaign, the political class and the Washington elites underestimated us. My message to them is clear: America is not for sale, and our fight is just beginning.” Hamadeh concluded, “Together, we will continue to challenge the swamp, defend our freedoms, and reclaim our country.”

Toma, who came in third place in the race, wished Hamadeh well.

“The voters of Congressional District 8 made their choice clear last night as to who the Republican nominee will be in November. While I’m certainly disappointed in the outcome, I am forever grateful and humbled by the level of support shown from so many who opened their arms, their homes, and their wallets to support our campaign,” tweeted Toma. “It was an honor and a privilege to be endorsed and supported by so many great leaders of our state and to run a positive campaign centered on my record of accomplishments. I wish all the candidates who ran alongside me the very best.”
