Former Dane County Sheriff Dave Mahoney and Representative Gordon Hintz  have endorsed Anna Halverson for Wisconsin State Assembly, District 80.

“After 16 years in the Assembly and more than four as the Assembly Democratic Leader, I know the qualifications, experience, and work ethic an effective legislator needs. Anna Halverson has it all: strong roots in the district, a proven track record of getting results, a passion for making change happen, and strong progressive values,” said Representative Hintz. “She will be an asset for her district and the state overall, and is the best choice for Democrats in the 80th District. I’m proud to support Anna Halverson.”

Former Dane County Sheriff Mahoney said, “As a leader in Moms Demand Action, Anna Halverson is an effective champion for ending gun violence and strengthening our communities. She will bring energy, passion, and an important new voice to the Wisconsin legislature. I am proud to endorse her.”
