With primary elections on Aug. 2 and the general elections not far behind, Ability360 is providing tips so voters with disabilities will be able to cast ballots for these very important elections.

Vote by Mail
Arizona Voters in every county are eligible to sign up for the Active Early Voting List. Individuals on the list automatically receive their ballots by mail for every election they are eligible to vote in. Visit Service Arizona at www.servicearizona.com to update your voter registration.
How Do I Request a Braille or Large Print ballot to Vote by Mail?
Contact your County Elections office to request a Braille or Large Print ballot.
Maricopa County provides Braille and Large Print ballots for voters who will vote by mail. They are currently accepting requests for the 2022 August Primary and November General Elections. Maricopa County voters can request a Braille or Large Print ballot by calling 602-506-1511 or emailing SEB@risc.maricopa.gov
Need Assistance to Vote?
Some Arizona counties offer voting from home, a residential setting or a medical facility through a Special Elections Board (SEB). Contact your County Elections Office for more information.
In Maricopa County, voters with a confining illness or disability can request voter assistance from the SEB. SEB’s two-member team from different political parties will travel to voters who want and need voting assistance due to a physical disability or confining illness. This service is free of charge. Voting at the Polls
All voting locations should provide voter assistance services. All voting locations should be ADA accessible.
Voters may use the Accessible Voting Device to independently, and with privacy, cast a ballot. Each county offers different assistance and machinery to aid voters with disabilities. If you have any county specific questions or suggestions, please reach out to your County Elections Department.
In Maricopa County, this includes large print, sip and puff, touch screen, audio only and more.
Voters unable to leave their vehicle may use curb-side voting to cast a ballot at a voting location. All locations should have signage posted that includes a phone number to initiate use of curbside voting. The voter remains in their vehicle while poll workers provide assistance.
