Skies are clear and temperatures have cooled again in the overnight. Many areas will begin this morning in the upper 40s at sunrise (7:04 a.m.). No doubt, refreshing and well below the seasonal average morning low of 65°. This is the good stuff and will not last much longer, as hotter days are to return this weekend.

This afternoon looks incredible, as more sunshine is expected, along with light southeast winds. Expect another day below average with highs reaching the upper 70s.

Additional sunshine is expected on Friday, as temperatures return to more seasonal levels with highs reaching the middle 80s, while the humidity still remains below average.

A push of heat arrives this weekend, while dew points begin to surge upward, creating a more humid and hotter pattern. This will stretch well into next week, as rain chances remain low. Some days early next week could be flirting with near-record highs.
