SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Great Bear Ski Valley will be closed Thursday for the day because of high winds, a news release from the park said.
The park is expected to be open regular hours for skiing & snowboarding on Friday. Extended hours for the holiday break begin Saturday, Dec. 21, and run through Wednesday, Jan 1.
The park opens early at 8 a.m. on Saturdays all winter to season passholders. Great Bear hopes to open the Kirby Family Tubing Park for the season on Saturday.
