The Tennessee Titans swung for the fences yet again this offseason, signing safety Quandre Diggs to a one-year contract. The 31-year-old reunites with former teammate Jamal Adams in the Titans secondary.
Diggs comes to the Titans with quite the resume. The former Texas standout has accumulated 580 tackles, 56 pass deflections, and 24 interceptions during his ten-year career.
Diggs can still play at a high level, too, having played in all 17 games last season while collecting a career-best 95 tackles, including 63 solo tackles, to go along with five pass deflections and one interception on a Seattle defense that ranked in the bottom half, with 233.0 passing yards allowed per game.
In terms of the contract, Diggs will make $3 million in base pay in 2024, a significant drop from the $13 million AAV earned from his last contract. However, Diggs can make up to $5 million in incentives, which is great for the player and the team.
