Another iconic Disney tale bites the dust—this time, with a dose of woke poison.

Disney’s latest attempt to cash in on nostalgia with its live-action remake of Snow White has landed with a thud, proving that even a beloved classic can’t survive the heavy-handed meddling of Hollywood’s woke agenda.

Rachel Zegler, the film’s Latina lead, sparked outrage with comments dismissing the 1937 original as dated, calling the prince a “stalker” and vowing to reimagine Snow White as a feminist leader rather than a damsel in distress.

The Seven Dwarfs? Axed in favor of CGI creations after actor Peter Dinklage decried the original portrayal as “backward,” leaving dwarf actors like Mr. Tan—who protested outside theaters—lamenting the loss of rare roles.

According to The Wrap, Snow White raked in just $16 million on its opening day across 4,200 theaters.

In its opening weekend, “Snow White” garnered approximately $43 million in domestic ticket sales, with an additional $44 million from international markets, totaling around $87 million globally. These figures fall significantly short of the estimated $250 million production budget.

Add marketing costs, and it’s safe to say Disney’s woke fairytale fantasy just turned into a fiscal nightmare.

Critics aren’t helping either. The film sits at a dismal 42% on Rotten Tomatoes, with audiences on IMDb delivering an even harsher verdict: a pitiful 1.9 out of 10 based on 79,000 user votes.

Theaters across the country were eerily quiet, with some screenings reportedly hosting fewer than a dozen attendees. Social media posts from moviegoers showed rows of empty seats.

And now, the backlash isn’t just coming from conservative critics or moviegoers—it’s coming from inside the house.

Jonah Platt, son of the film’s own producer Marc Platt, took to social media to torch the movie’s lead actress, Rachel Zegler, blaming her for dragging down the film with her “immature” and “narcissistic” behavior during the press tour.

In a now-deleted but widely circulated response, he laid into Zegler, exposing the behind-the-scenes chaos caused by the actress’s unprofessional behavior.

“Yeah, my dad, the producer of enormous piece of Disney IP with hundreds of millions of dollars on the line, had to leave his family to to fly across the country to reprimand his 20 year old employee for dragging her personal politics into the middle of promoting the movie for which she signed a multi-million dollar contract to get paid and do publicity for.

This is called adult responsibility and accountability. And her actions clearly hurt the film’s box office. Free speech does not mean you’re allowed to say whatever you want in your private employment without repercussions.

Tens of thousands of people worked on that film and she hijacked the conversation for her own immature desires at the risk of all the colleagues and crew and blue collar workers who depend on that movie to be successful. Narcissism is not something to be coddled or encouraged.”
