As reported earlier — Last Thursday, New York Times investigative reporters Jonathan Martin and Alex Burns released passages from their latest book “This Will Not Pass: Trump, Biden, and the Battle for America’s Future.”
In the book, the pair claimed that House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy (CA) told Liz Cheney (WY) on a January 10, 2021 call that he would counsel Trump to resign before the end of his term.
McCarthy denied the allegations completely, saying that the claim was “totally false” following the report being made public.
But, no surprise, McCarthy was caught lying with his pants down, as audio of the call was leaked to the media shortly after he denied the story.
Despite being exposed (again) as a liar and a RINO fraud, McCarthy chose to double down, shamelessly denying the story yet again when asked directly about the call by Fox News’ Bill Melugin.
Even Fox News, which initially ignored the story completely, has started to pressure McCarthy over his traitorous actions.
Well, now, more of McCarthy’s phone conversations have been leaked, and, just like the first round, he exposes whose side he’s really on.
On Thursday, Matt Gaetz joined Tucker Carlson as he aired more audio from the RINO minority leader, this time revealing his shameless attempts to shield fellow RINO sellout Liz Cheney from criticism.
One thing’s for sure, the California RINO really loves him some Cheney.
In the call, which is reportedly from January 10th, 2020, McCarthy says that Gaetz and other Republican officials’ remarks about “anti-Trump” Republicans, like Cheney, are “personal threats,” essentially amounting to “illegal activity.
As Tucker points out, “like a liberal college professor, [McCarthy] believes that words are violence.” *sarcastic emphasis added.
In other words, Trump wasn’t the only America First Republican McCarthy was looking to oust. Anyone who goes against the (il)liberal sellout wing of the Republican party is a target.
From the leaked audio, in which GOP Rep. Steve Scalise also reveals his true colors (spoiler alert, he’s a RINO too):
Kevin McCarthy: “The other thing I want to bring up, and I’m making some phone calls to some members. I just got something sent now about NewsMax – something Matt Gaetz said where he’s calling people’s names out, saying “anti-trump” in this type of atmosphere and some other places. This is serious stuff people are doing that has to stop. Ok, what did Gaetz say?”
Aide: “Hi, yeah, Gaetz said… Gaetz brought up Liz [Cheney] specifically. I just saw that on Twitter.”
McCarthy: “And Adams. Someone just sent it.” Gonzalez just sent it to me so I’m calling Gaetz. I’m explaining to him [that he has to stop]. I don’t know that he has much to say, but I’m going to have some other people call him too. But the nature of what – if I’m getting a briefing, I’m going to get another one from the FBI tomorrow. This is serious sh*t, to cut this out.”
Steve Scalise: “Yeah that’s, I mean it’s potentially illegal what he’s [Gaetz] doing.”
McCarthy: “Well, he’s putting people in jeopardy and he doesn’t need to be doing this. We saw what people would do at the Capitol.”
In another recording, McCarthy’s comments that were reported earlier this week, in which he calls for Big Tech platforms to take action against lawmakers who support Trump in the same way he was dealt with after January 6th – remove their access to their accounts:
Conference call participant: “He tweeted at Marjorie Green and @naral. I understand it was a black police officer that shot the white female veteran. You know that doesn’t fit the narrative. This is what we have to confront with this.”
McCarthy: “Can’t they take their Twitter accounts away too?”
After exposing the new audio recordings, Gaetz joined Tucker, blasting the GOP House leader for selling out to the Democrats.
Take a look:
While I was protecting President Trump from impeachment, Kevin McCarthy and Steve Scalise were protecting Liz Cheney from criticism.
This notion that you can have these sniveling calls and try to foment action against Republicans by Big Tech and DOJ is not fitting of leadership. pic.twitter.com/9zBS7DHt22

McCarthy needs to be booted from the party already, there should be no coming back after this.
