SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – Organizations in Sioux Falls have prepared free Thanksgiving meals for the community.
Here’s a list of where you can eat for free on Thursday:
Boss’s Pizza and Chicken
The Boss’s location Minnesota Avenue will have free meals to go from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meals will include roasted chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy and corn. To pick up, go through the back parking lot drive thru.
The Rush
Starting at 11 a.m., The Rush is offering a free classic Thanksgiving meal with turkey, mashed potatoes, rolls and more. A free will donation will be available for the business to help raise money for nonprofits.
Union Gospel Mission
The Union Gospel Mission is serving a free Thanksgiving meal on Thursday. Lunch is extended from 12-2 p.m. and dinner starts at 6 p.m. The organization is also handing out boxes of food from 1-4 p.m. for people to make a Thanksgiving meal at home.
The Banquet
Both locations of The Banquet will have a Thanksgiving meal from 6-7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Memorial Lutheran Church
Memorial Lutheran Church on Western Avenue has prepared a Thanksgiving meal for anyone who doesn’t have a place to go on Thursday. The meal starts at noon and includes turkey, potato and sweet potatoes, dinner rolls, vegetables, frog eye, Jello and snicker salad, as well as various pies.
Lucky’s on Louise
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Lucky’s on Louise is hosting a free Thanksgiving lunch. The menu includes turkey, stuffing, corn, green beans, mashed potatoes, salad, dinner rolls, cheesecake and pumpkin and apple pie.
