Video from a little over a year ago shows Senator Chuck Schumer threatening that Supreme Court justices Brett Kavanaugh and Neil Gorsuch would “pay the price” if they dare rule against Roe v. Wade.
The startling scene took place at an extremist pro-abortion rally held in close proximity to the court itself in March of 2020.
“They’re taking away fundamental rights,” Schumer claimed.
“I want to tell you, Gorsuch, I want to tell you, Kavanaugh, you have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price,” Schumer shouted, pointing a stern finger toward the court.
“You won’t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions,” he added, clenched fist repeatedly striking downward.
The video is striking in light of the foiled assassination attempt on Justice Kavanaugh by an armed California man.

Chuck Schumer’s Shocking Threat Against Brett Kavanaugh
Chuck Schumer’s threat against Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh was stunning at the time, for sure.
But bear in mind this was well before Amy Coney Barrett, a conservative-leaning justice, was confirmed – giving the right more control of the Supreme Court and calling into question that abortion rights could actually be curbed.
It was well before there was any true threat to rulings on Roe v. Wade. And it was nearly a year prior to the leak of a draft opinion indicating the landmark decision may be overturned.
It certainly though, laid the groundwork for pro-abortion extremists to view the Supreme Court as a threat. Something that, with the more recent leak, has led to doxxing of justices, protests outside their homes, and escalating tensions.
That all culminated on Wednesday with the arrest of Nicholas John Roske, who was found armed with a handgun, a knife, and “burglary supplies” near Kavanaugh’s home.
Roske, according to the criminal complaint filed against him, was “thinking about how to give his life a purpose and decided that he would kill” Kavanaugh and as such, was charged with attempting or threatening to kidnap or murder a US judge.

CNBC reported that Roske “told police he traveled to the Maryland home of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh to kill him” and his motive was being “upset over the likelihood of the Supreme Court soon overturning the constitutional right to abortion.”

Will Schumer Apologize For His Threat?
Senator Chuck Schumer isn’t the only prominent Democrat to make veiled threats against the Supreme Court.
Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot issued a “call to arms” for the LGBT community in the wake of the potential abortion ruling, claiming without evidence that the Court will be “coming for us next.”
“To my friends in the LGBTQ+ community—the Supreme Court is coming for us next,” she tweeted one month ago. “This moment has to be a call to arms.”

In a follow-up message, Lightfoot wrote, “We will not surrender our rights without a fight—a fight to victory!”
Yet, neither Lightfoot nor Schumer have apologized for their rhetoric since then, or even in the last 24 hours of knowing somebody had threatened to kill Justice Kavanaugh.
Former President Trump, at the time of Schumer’s threat against the Supreme Court, insisted the New York Democrat be held accountable.
“This is a direct [and] dangerous threat to the U.S. Supreme Court by Schumer,” Trump said. “If a Republican did this, he or she would be arrested, or impeached. Serious action MUST be taken NOW!”

The liberal media has been portraying reminders that Schumer threatening Kavanaugh with having to “pay the price” as a right-wing smear. That’s what every left-wing outlet uses as a defense against reality.
Schumer’s threat was so blatant, however, that even Chief Justice John Roberts, who has repeatedly sided with liberals in their rulings on the court, had to issue a public rebuke against the Senator.

“Justices know that criticism comes with the territory, but threatening statements of this sort from the highest levels of government are not only inappropriate, they are dangerous,” Roberts insisted.
