FISHERS, Ind. — A Fishers man was charged with rape and domestic battery after reportedly attacking his girlfriend.

Andrew Randall, 42, was charged with:

  • Domestic Battery, a Level 5 Felony
  • Rape, a Level 3 Felony

On March 31, 2023, at approximately 8:31 a.m., the victim went to the Fishers Police Department and requested to speak to an officer. She said that her “on-again/off-again” boyfriend, Randall, had physically attacked and raped her the night before. The victim stated that Randall used meth and had been to prison for battery against her in the past. She told officers that “he’s going to kill me.”

According to court documents, the victim was “fed up” with his meth usage and rages, so she went to get a Protective Order against Randall to get him out of her house, but when she found out it would be a long process, she left with the paperwork. Randall found the paperwork the same day, and an argument ensued. Later that evening, Randall reportedly attacked the victim.

Afterward, Randall asked her not to “file paperwork.” Previously, he also allegedly threatened the victim that if she told authorities, he would send his friends to hurt her if he went to jail because of her again.

The officer searched the home at the 1300 block of St. Andrews Way, where the victim lived. The officer found multiple guns and broken glass, along with things that corroborated her story of the attack.

A detective then spoke with Randall. His version of the story primarily aligned with hers, but the critical difference was that “he did not force anything sexual,” according to his statement in court documents. He also stated that she frequently threatened to have him sent back to prison and that the situation was an effort to get him in trouble and out of the house.

Information will be updated as it becomes available.
