SIOUX FALLS S.D. (KELO) — The First Thunder Fire near Rapid City has been declared 100% contained, according to a post from the fire’s Facebook page.
The fire has burned for a week, starting on Tuesday, Sept. 3. Winds and dry conditions help to fuel the fire.
The blaze covered at least 157 acres. The cause remains under investigation.
